What is heaviness

  1. checkCarrying extra weight isn’t just about appearance—it’s a serious health risk that can shorten your life. Excess body weight is linked to numerous chronic conditions, including:
    1. Heart Disease and Diabetes: Excess fat, especially around the abdomen, can increase the risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes.
    2. Joint Pain and Degradation: Additional weight places extra pressure on joints, leading to pain and conditions like osteoarthritis.
    3. Respiratory Issues: Overweight individuals may experience breathing problems, exacerbating conditions like asthma and obstructive sleep apnea.
    4. A Global Epidemic: With over 2 billion people worldwide classified as overweight or obese, the challenge of managing weight has never been more critical.
    5. General lethargy and improper sleep - One of the prominent links between a person’s weight and fatigue is an uneven sleep cycle. When there is excess body weight, our physical activity tends to decrease, contributing to lower daytime energy levels. This, in turn, contributes to improper sleep or sleeping at odd times.
    6. Lack of motivation - all of the above lead to a generally unmotivated lifestyle, lower confidence & self-esteem
